An opportunity has arisen within the busy Works Delivery department for a major rail organisation for a Project Engineer focusing on buildings and structures. Based out of Manchester, this is an initial 6 month contract.

Duties will include design acceptance and general engineering assurance activity for construction projects, ensuring all works adhere to the GRIP standards for rail construction projects.

Successful candidates will ideally have degree in relevant subject and chartered membership of a relevant engineering body. Ideal candidate will have a strong building fabrics/structures background, possibly a chartered surveyor or building regulations background. Valid PTS will be required for rail access but can be organised for successful candidate.

This role has been determined inside IR35 for Limited Company contractors.
